Facts versus fiction

One of our Twitter followers, has recently asked us how we knew that Big Mike of the futures.io dubious fame blew two of his trading accounts, to which we had alluded in one of our tweets.

Well, here is a link to this tweet with a little thread that evolved out of it.

We provided evidence for that and, as we thought, it was already on our blog.

Here’s the point of this brief post: when we say something, we do not make shit up. We don’t have to. Facts speak louder than fiction!

See also this piece for an update.

Elitetrader.com folks mention us again

We thought it would be a good idea to reciprocate this by mentioning them here.

Elitetrader.com is probably the best trading forum out there. It’s for the smart crowd, not the type of a trader that would take Big Mike of the futures.io dubious fame seriously.
It is a forum where you can speak freely because its owner is not engaging in any suspect, let alone criminal, activity, and so he does not feel threatened by what is being posted there.

In fact, the Elitetrader.com members tend to be quite critical of Big Mike and his fraud. Big Mike tools were pretty active with their propaganda there, which was officially endorsed by Big Mike (Michael Boulter), who at some point was openly urging his troops to help him out to dispel the bad publicity his “forum” generated, but once Big Bozo got sued, all that manipulative activity seems to have stopped or have diminished significantly. Even his biggest tools finally figured out that the guy is a deranged, reckless, criminal moron, and defending him or his blatantly stupid actions was a totally losing proposition.

The Elitetrader.com members are also quite critical of other vendors, but their criticism is not of the Big Mike kind, which is deliberately malicious and manipulated by Big Bozo to suit his needs for the douchebag in question competes with the people he smears. As do many of the vendors there, and their number is far greater than on any other trading forum making it a real haven for the parasitic vendors because that’s the kind he attracts.

That he refuses to disclose his vendor status, and blatantly manipulates the tone of the discussion there, makes his forum an exercise in criminal conspiracy, though he insists on calling it “freedom of speech” as if the people he and his tools attack were actually allowed to respond to it. Now, that would be the freedom of speech as we understand it and how the Elitetrader.com owner appears to understand it too.

Below are three recent pieces that mention us on Elitetrader.com. Clicking on them will enlarge them.

In the first of them, Dr. Cohen, himself one of our Twitter followers, notices that we have four Ph.D.s among our Twitter followers. Yes, indeed, we do, and that’s one up from the previous count. We proud ourselves on attracting the highly educated crowd, though we do not discriminate against anyone.

But if educated folks follow us, that, we’d like to think, attests to the fact that we  do our homework before we write. In fact, unlike Big Mike and his troops who consistently spread smear, slander and all kinds of other lies, we stick to the facts and back our opinion with them as much as we can, which also means that everything we have said in this piece has already been backed up by many other such pieces (with evidence), dedicated to Michael Boulter and his fraud. Just search this category. Or this one.

David Cohen also points out that the vendors who follow us are of higher quality, more trustworthy than those following the Texan fraud. While we do not endorse any of them, we are inclined to agree with that statement too. We would certainly not trade them for those who follow Big Bozo. We intend to look into the business of the latter in due time. There is plenty not to like about some of them.

We believe that our followers are, in general, the people of higher integrity who also tend to be independent thinkers, the total opposite of the crowd that Big Mike attracts. We would like to thank them for following us on Twitter, for following this blog, and for spreading our message. Unlike Big Mike, we have nothing to sell. We only offer honest, free advice, and it’s entirely up to you to judge its value –  we will not ban you if you disagree with it. Unlike, again, guess who?

Thanks again to the folks at Elitetrader.com and to all of our Twitter followers for being the best Twitter followers out there.

Our Twitter feed is here. And, don’t forget that we follow back!

Futuresio – the Big Mike Trading forum behind a new facade

The Big Mike Trading Forum is now futuresio or futures.io. Whatever to call it, it’s definitely not a trading forum that it pretends to be.

It’s the biggest sham operation in the trading world run by a criminally minded Texan loser who blew two of his trading accounts only to confirm that he is a reckless moron by getting sued by a respectable brokerage for allowing one of his useful, malicious tools to smear the said brokerage. Not only did he allow that to happen, but to demonstrate how Texan losers understand the idea of freedom of speech, he did not let the brokerage respond to the smear, which, incidentally, did not prevent him from running a fraudulent legal support fund under the agenda of protecting freedom of speech. No, we are not kidding at all!

That’s some freedom indeed. For the chosen. Ass kissers and useful tools should apply first. You have to be a total Texan douchebag to act like that. And criminally minded at that too.

Everything we have said on this blog about the Big Mike Trading forum, and we have said quite a bit about it, applies to futuresio as well. It’s the same sham that is desperately trying to hide its past behind yet another facade. Nothing else has changed there and nothing will: the guy in charge is still the same (Michael Boulter) and it is surrounded by the same clique of sleazy, underhanded operators, including the most despicable of them, Dirty Harry, or Harald Steinhaus, known largely by his forum handle of Fat Tails.

Futuresio (futures.io) is not a legitimate business.

It is deceptive, manipulative, and blatantly anti-capitalist. It’s Big Mike’s modern day Texan plantation with an Enron twist. Yes, Enron was also a Texan (wonder) company. Until it became known by its proper name, as one of the worst frauds in the US history.

We proud ourselves on being among the fiercest critics of Michael Boulter’s conspiratorial, fraudulent operation known previously as the Big Mike Trading forum and we are convinced that this criticism is to be credited for his decision to resort to yet another gimmick: changing the name from the one that had become associated with unmitigated sham and fraud to something new.

Except that this new is really the same old.

In related news, elitetrader.com, probably the most respectable trading forum out there, is still elitetrader.com, eminimethods.com, one of the most respectable and trustworthy sites for e-mini futures traders run by an excellent trader is still eminimethods.com, and fooledbyrandomness.com is still fooledbyrandomness.com. All of these sites have been mentioned on this blog before because we trust them.

The men who own these sites have one thing in common: none of them has been publicly accused of extortion unlike Michael Boulter, the “brain” behind the sham now known as futures.io. And, needless to say, none of them has been linked to promoting smear, slander, and piracy. Unlike, again, Michael Boulter. These guys know how to build their brand, unlike, let’s say it again, Michael Boulter, a veteran BS artist.

To read the articles relevant to futuresio (futures.io) and its past check out this category.

We have also created two new categories for it because we expect the reckless moron in charge of the site in question to keep on incriminating himself.

Some tweets

We are on Twitter, the fact we mentioned on this blog before, at least twice already; see for instance here. You can find us at this address.

We are not too active, but we already have over 50 followers and they are the best followers you can get, much better than the ones you pay for because they are genuine.

We tweet from time to time, but not too often, either. And we also retweet what we happen to find in our Twitter feed, if this catches our attention enough.

We would like to present here two tweets that we retweeted and even commented on in the past.

They happen to be by Mr. Adam Halpern and Dr. Waldemar Puszkarz, two people who were kind enough to mention us in their communication channels before. But that’s pretty accidental because the main reason we talk about these tweets here is that they happen to be relevant to what we talk about on this blog as you can surely see from our comments on them. We recommend that you check out the links the original tweeterers posted.

Now you have another reason to follow us on Twitter: not only because of our tweets, but also because you may find our retweets interesting too.

And we follow everyone back!

The Big Mike Trading Forum mentioned or discussed here is now futuresio or futures.io. But it is still the same sham as before for the reasons mentioned here and in other posts on this blog. Read more about it in the first article dedicated specifically to Michael Boulter’s latest fraudulent reinvention.

Nassim Taleb’s particularly trenchant tweet

Nassim Nicholas Taleb is an author of several interesting books that we think every trader should get acquainted with. We have read some of them, and we are familiar with the gist of all of them. He has made a little fortune trading, which may explain why he is now mostly retired, save for writing books or papers and being a conference speaker.

He is also a Ph.D., though most people may not know it, as he does not display it next to his name. Not all Ph.D.’s do so. We suspect that those who did well outside the halls of Academia are less likely to brandish their doctoral degrees, though we admit this is a pretty simplistic rule. Waldemar Puszkarz, one of our favorite Ph.D.’s, is another example of that. While you can find his name on every page of his site, there is no “Ph.D.” next to it. And he certainly can trade too; check out his Twitter feed. We like people like that.

Modesty aside, there might be another reason why brandishing your Ph.D. in America may not be such a good idea. America is a pretty anti-intellectual country compared to many other developed countries, such as Canada or countries in Western Europe. Not to mention many Asian countries (except, perhaps, those predominantly Muslim), where there is something of a cult of intelligence. In the country where being dumb has become a virtue, being a Ph.D. may actually be frown upon. However, being dumb can make you very welcome on the Big Mike Trading forum, the only trading forum for people with a competitively low IQ.

There’s, of course, nothing wrong with being a Ph.D. or even using these 3 letters next to your name, if you wish so, provided you truly earned that degree.

Some people didn’t. These days, most of them seem to gravitate towards the posts in the German government. That was a joke, but it is true that more than one member of Angela Merkel’s cabinet had to resign recently because they were accused of plagiarizing their dissertations, and one of them was even stripped off of his doctoral degree.

Then there are those who got their “Dr. diplomas” (M.D.’s or even Ph.D.’s) from institutions that are not even accredited to bestow such degrees. You can bet that those are most likely to use them. Some of them love to refer to themselves as “doctor” on their sites, in their webinars or podcasts. One “Dr.” Burns springs to mind. The “good doctor,” just like Big Mike, aims at the dumbest of the dumb, we suspect.

If you check out Dr. Taleb’s website (see also the image below), you will see a very humble page, apparently created by himself.

And that’s just fine. Substance and form are two different things. Or, as someone once put it, “you can tell a real man even if he is completely naked.” A fancy site, in our opinion, correlates positively with more BS, though we admit to be somewhat opinionated. But we tend to be well-informed too.

He is also on Twitter, where he tweets quite a bit, and we agree with most of it. We follow him there. We also often re-tweet him.

Here’s one of his more recent tweets that we particularly agree with, as you can see from our response to it.

Speaking of this sort of education, we cannot help but direct you to an excellent article about trading forums’ education on Dr. Puszkarz’s site. We guarantee you will be as amused as we were when reading it or your money back.

Dr. Taleb seems to be quite capable of spotting German trickery too, which we will certainly not use against him (see another of his tweets that we embedded below).

Is the Big Mike Trading forum legit?

This blog has become an authority of sorts on the Big Mike Trading forum. No wonder then that it attracts quite a bit of traffic from the people searching for more information on the dubious trading forum in question. Some of this traffic is driven by various search engines, Google in particular, where we are enjoying a pretty high position.

big_mike_trading_legitOne of the keywords we have spotted being used lately by those arriving here is “is big mike trading legit” as you can see from the screenshot posted above (click on it to enlarge it).

Apparently, fewer and fewer people have less and less doubt about this “forum,” but some still want to get a confirmation of what they rightly suspect is the case.

We show you this screenshot so that you know that we are not making this up.

Unlike, say, Harald Steinhaus (Fat Tails) or Mike Boulter (Big Mike) who have yet to be caught telling the truth, and we are only slightly exaggerating our point. If this ever happens, i.e., they are caught, the human race will enter a new era. To the Big Mike followers, this will feel as if they have been abducted by aliens hell-bent on blowing up their rectums, suspecting that’s where their deranged thinking is coming from. To the rest of us, it will feel like being in heaven with all those virgins that you are ordinarily granted only if you blow yourself up in the name of Allah. You get nothing for blowing up your account, even twice; just ask Big Mike.

Here’s our brief answer to anyone still nursing this question, the question of whether this trading “forum” is legit.

The answer is: “hell no!”

We promised to keep it brief, didn’t we?

Check out these posts if you want to know why, starting, say, from this article.

We promise and even guarantee that all these posts are based on facts and not fiction. That’s because this is a site for people who want to be well-informed and not yet another trading forum for losers and suckers who would rather be lied to.

German predation is in the news again these days

So what else is new, really?

As Dr. Waldemar Puszkarz, one of our Twitter followers and supporters (not to mention an excellent e-mini futures scalper and respectable trading vendor) tweeted just recently, Germans have suddenly become concerned about their image.

No shit, Jose!

They are afraid that they might have been too hard on the poor Greeks whose country has been going through an epic (that’s from Greek epikos) economic crisis as of the past few years. The very same poor Greeks who should have never been accepted to the Eurozone when it was launched, pretty much along with the other Southern European nations that somehow too were included in the club, rather prematurely as well.

Not only do these Mediterranean nations enjoy cooking a lot, but they are so good at it that they can cook pretty much anything, including books. It’s “lifestyle” there and Germans knew it quite well because everybody does.

Corruption Perceptions Index of 2014, one measure of this “lifestyle,” shows that both Greece and Italy rank lower (69 out of 175 countries) than all post-communist countries of Northern Europe that are members of the EU, and Spain (37) a bit lower than Poland (35), the leader among this group of countries. Even Turkey (64) is doing slightly better than Greece!

The Euro might have been a good idea for a Northern part of the EU, but hardly for the party animals in the South. But, one should note that some of the highly developed EU nations in the North (Denmark, Sweden, and the UK) are not part of the Eurozone. Apparently, they woke up just in time and smelled the coffee; one may view it as a vote of no confidence of sorts for the German-led common currency union.

It would certainly not be the very first time in history that the image of Germans as perceived by independent observers made very close contact with the true German character, that of committed, ruthless predators. World War Two is still the best example of what this true German character appears to be.

70 years later, the world was beginning to forget it. Probably prematurely too.

The German penchant for inflicting humiliation, misery or harm on others, especially the weak or the defenseless, needs no special introduction. Read the history books. What’s sad and, frankly, even terrifying, at the same time, is that it persists even though it is widely hated. It also projects very negatively on Germans. You would think that Germans, as smart as they like to believe they are, would abandon it in a New York minute. However, it appears that German atavisms die particularly hard.

We have talked on this blog about one, but a particularly good example of that penchant, exhibited by our favorite German douchebag, a specimen named Harald Steinhaus who operates out of some Texas based shithole that insists on being called a trading forum, even though it is merely another trading vendor business, except that much more dishonest and criminally negligent than most such businesses are.

This “trading forum” is run by a veteran trading loser, who blew two of his day trading accounts and, if it were not enough, got recently sued for slander and publicly accused of extortion. His name is Mike Boulter, but he prefers to hide under the nickname of Big Mike (“big” as in “big loser”), though Reckless Moron would be infinitely more appropriate. He also hides that he is a vendor, meaning that not only is he a big loser, but also a big coward with a definite manipulative bent.

To repeat what we have said in greater detail in a few articles dedicated to Harald Steinhaus (this being the last one so far), also known as Fat Tails on the Big Mike Trading forum, he made a name for himself (and was even awarded a Gold Medal) there by ruthlessly denigrating his competitors (other trading vendors) through outright lies or malicious insinuations, some of which struck us as slanderous. Not only that, he has also distinguished himself as a peddler of knock-off trading products originally created by American vendors, an obvious and especially damning act of predation.

Yes, Germans should be rightly concerned about their image.

Not only because of how their government has been handling the Greek financial crisis, but also because Harald Steinhaus’ blatant predatory practices and many attempts at humiliating and hurting his competitors are totally unheard of even in the world as sleazy and borderline criminal as the world of trading vendors.

Germans who hang out on the Big Mike Trading forum should be particularly concerned about their image. Not just because they are once again more than willing to support yet another deranged sociopath, loser, and obvious fraud, but also because they have failed miserably to offer any counterbalance, let alone an effective one, to Harald Steinhaus’ perfidious pathology; in fact, some of them were even eager to support him in his underhanded attempts to harm his American competitors.

In other words, despite hundreds if not thousands of Germans that patronize that highly questionable “trading” site, none of them turned out to be a righteous one. Surely, opposing Big Mike’s or Harald Steinhaus’ criminally negligent behavior would not mean being sent to a concentration camp this time around. Heck, even one Jew did it (David Cohen, Ph.D. – here is his tweet attesting to that) and he lived to tell his story and to proudly wear his halo of righteousness.

If we missed such a German, we apologize for that, and we ask him or her to contact us and tell their story here. We have recently started this little “tell your story” initiative per request of one of the vendors out there, but it’s open to anyone and not just trading vendors.

Judging from yet another link tweeted by Mr. Puszkarz the same day, the Greece debacle and Germany’s tough stance are likely to keep many European countries away from the Eurozone for much longer then it would have been otherwise. And that means losses for Germans too. Being an asshole usually doesn’t pay off. And it shouldn’t.

And then there’s even more news coming from Dr. Puszkarz’s Twitter feed.

It turns out that now even the IMF believes that the only way to solve the Greek crisis is by forgiving a portion of their debt. The IMF is no bastion of socialism, to say the least, and is largely controlled by American interests. Saying that this opinion again casts Germans as total assholes hell-bent on punishing the poor Greeks instead of helping them to solve their financial problems is an understatement of sorts.

Then there is a good old Ben Bernanke, the last Fed chairman, who says that “Germany is feasting on the rest of Europe,” which is a politically correct way of saying that Germans are predators again. How did Mr. BB arrive at this conclusion? Oh, that’s easy. If you want to see who committed a crime, you focus on those who benefited the most. That would be Germans. The German European leadership is a failure. Germans are the leaders that took care of themselves and left the weaker in peril of becoming economic pariahs. Hardly what you expect from the true leaders.

Finally, we recommend a piece by Capitalist Imperialist Pig (in yet another tweet by Waldemar Puszkarz) who offers his personal experience of being spat on by a German lady on his visit to Germany because (gasp) he turned out to be an American.

We are definitely stretching the very concept of the lady here to allow for German ladies. If this can be any consolation to the Pig, Harald Steinhaus have spat on many, and on their businesses too, figuratively speaking, so perhaps Germans should really not be judged by the American standards.

Now, that was meant in jest for American standards are already pitifully low. Let us not forget that we elected George W. Bush president twice. How much lower can you go? Yes, that’s the guy who was convinced that “childrens” could learn. He also declared “mission accomplished” in an act of most premature of all premature ejaculations ever!

The Pig also relates a story about how differently Italians and the French treated the Greeks during the recent deal talks compared to Germans. Here is the relevant piece.

“Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble was reported to have started yelling during Saturday night’s negotiations. France and Italy have both made huge loans to Greece, but neither country has expressed hostility to Greece. Why is Germany so angry?”

Why are Germans so angry? Because they are douchebags? Just a wild guess.

And the fact that there are so many of them on the Big Mike Trading forum makes it quite hard to conceal that it is a forum for, well, obviously, douchebags. Largely stupid too, including many Germans, who tend to think they dwarf others intellectually. No, they don’t, though stupid Americans (and many others) can buy anything.

To paraphrase H.L. Mencken, “No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.” The Big Mike Trading forum is the best testimony to that. It may even beat electing G.W. Bush for president in that regard.

Harald Steinhaus, the guy who acts like he is the smartest of them all there (or anyone else for that matter), could not even come up with good original trading products of his own but resorted to copying someone else’s work instead! So much for the German intellectual superiority!

If you check out the comments section of the Capitalist Imperialist Pig’s post, you will see that most of the commenters there disagree with him, even quite vehemently. That’s perfectly fine.

That’s also how different (or normal) his blog is compared, again, to the Big Mike Trading forum where disagreeing with Big Mike or with any of his anointed vendors will get you banned in no time; remember, Big Mike banned Roger Felton, as we mentioned it here before, because the latter privately criticized Big Bozo in an email to a third party!

Heck, even disclosing casually there that you are Jewish is enough to cause a ban, making it really a very safe place for Germans (and other douchebags) to spit freely on the Untermenschen without the slightest fear of being confronted. A true douchebag paradise, indeed!

You may think that we really don’t like Germans. But, as Americans, why should we? Do Germans like us?

Hardly so. Consult the latest Pew survey (which we might have been pointed to by Dr. Puszkarz too, but we cannot find that tweet now) and you will see the picture as in the image below (click on it to enlarge it). That is, out of the major EU countries (Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, UK), Germans like Americans the least. And the French like us even more than the Brits!

And yet, it is perhaps the Germans that owe us the most out of all these countries. In particular, that we have not let them start another major war since WWII, which, in turn, gave them an opportunity to improve their image so much. The very same image that they are now apparently trying very hard to tarnish again.
